I always have been artistic…However, I grew up with a very traditional and scientific household, and so it was always second nature for me to be both left and right brained.

Throughout my career, I was always looking for a way to marry my analytical and creative sides and during the pandemic, I finally go the opportunity to do just that. In 2020, I discovered user experience design and it became a melting pot for all of my interests. I am passionate about creativity and psychology. Product design provided an outlet for me to help people but with a much bigger impact in a very niche way. Since being in the field, I have continued to specialize focusing on component design and I am heading towards component design for generative AI, and agenic AI.

When I’m not designing components, I’m usually painting with oils, sculpting pottery, or gardening. I enjoy testing new glazes and clays. I love taking oil painting classes with different teachers to learn new techniques and styles. And most of all I love being out in the sun in the garden and working with my hands far, far away from a screen. :)
